Centrul European de Cercetări Medicale Aplicate

European Research Centre of Applied Medicine

The Centro Europeo Ricerche Mediche Applicate - CERMA (European Research Centre of Applied Medicine), established in 1968 as an autonomous department of the Dragan European Foundation, has been dealing with the acquisition of new data on current scientific research, new applied and therapeutic methods and new techniques in the surgical field.

The results achieved have been released at public lectures and through the distribution of books and press releases, as well as the publication of the CERMA bulletin, a popularised medical bulletin, with specific focus on new scientific developments.

Between 1994 and 2004, on the Milan premises, a diagnostic and therapeutic clinic was available, including notable specialists in attendance as freelance professionals, and state-of- the-art equipment for neurological, and cardiological diagnosis, as well as CAT scans.

Currently the public lectures on topical subjects are continuing with the participation of Italy’s major experts at the Roman premises of the Dragan European Foundation in conjunction with the Fondazione Roma Chirurgia (Rome Surgeons’ Foundation), chaired by Professor Mario Giordani.
