As an initiative of Professor Iosif Constantin Dragan, the Libera Università Lombarda – Golden Age University (Unigold), now Dragan University – Golden Age, was established in Milan in 1988 as a cultural not-for-profit association. Its main aim is to offer university lecturing to every age group within the adult population.

The Dragan University – Golden Age arranges programs aimed at people who wish to keep their interests alive or update their cultural and social interests during their entire lifetime. Every year the program consists of around 50 different courses, ranging from humanities and literary subjects to science, the arts, history of civilizations, as well as languages and practical courses such as computer science and drama.

Since its inception, a variety of special public lectures have been organized with the participation of personalities in the cultural world, the arts, sciences and economics, as well as travels and guided tours to Italian and foreign artistic heritage, carefully selected among the main cultural initiatives both locally and internationally.
