Documents pour l’enseignement - AEDE

The Association européenne des enseignants (AEDE) is a federation of national associations gathering teachers who are determined to contribute to the advancement of European unity through their civic and pedagogic action.

AEDE, founded in Paris in 1956, is the first professional association established directly at European level and it aims to create awareness for teachers to be able to create and experiment with a new pedagogy and teaching methodologies, which are open to the European reality and able to prepare students to feel they are an integral part of Europe.

The periodical Documents pour l’enseignement was conceived to provide teachers with teaching materials and documents relevant to European institutions, to the economic, social and cultural issues connected with teaching theory and to the teaching of history, geography, literature, languages, economics and political and social education.

The Dragan European Foundation, being aware of the great commitment of the Association européenne des enseignants from the outset of European unification, has been contributing wholeheartedly to their activities, both on programs and cultural events and with publications.
